Keep It Together: WIchita's Friend-Making Social Experience

Harvester Arts
120 E 1st St, Suite 115
Wichita, Kansas
6 pm - 10 pm

Keep It Together: A Friend-Making Social Experience is a structured night of games, conversations, and unexpected connections designed to make meeting new people feel easy, natural, and actually fun.

Instead of awkward mingling, you’ll move through guided activities, group games, and interactive moments that help conversations happen instantly—and lead to real connections by the end of the night.

Show up, participate, and let the structure do the work. You might arrive not knowing anyone… and leave with a whole new circle.

Welcome to Keep It Together: Wichita's Friend-Making Social Experience

We’re really glad you’re here.

If you scanned this QR code, you’re probably curious about what this is — or wondering if it’s for you.

So here’s the full picture.

WHAT THIS EVENT IS

Keep It Together is a structured social experience designed to help people actually meet each other in real ways.

Not just show up. Not just stand around. Not just hope it happens.

We intentionally design the environment so connection is easier, more natural, and less awkward.

We use:

  • Connection Cards based on your responses
  • Compatibility-style matching
  • Guided group activities
  • Structured interaction moments throughout the night

Everything is built around the people who attend.

This is not a walk-in event. Registration is required in advance.

THIS IS NOT A DATING EVENT

Just to be very clear:

This is NOT a dating event.

While people may naturally form romantic connections, that is not the focus or purpose.

This event is designed for:

  • friendship
  • community building
  • meeting new people
  • creating real social connection in Wichita

No pressure. No expectations. Just connection in whatever form it naturally takes.

EVENT REQUIREMENTS

To attend, you must:

  • Purchase a ticket
  • Complete your participant form after purchase

Important details:

  • Limited to 100 attendees
  • Registration closes August 1st
  • No walk-ins or day-of entry

We need advance information because we create parts of the experience specifically for each attendee.

WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE

Your experience includes:

  • Custom Connection Cards created from your form responses
  • Your personalized compatibility-style matches
  • A Top Match / connection reveal moment
  • Group activities designed based on attendees
  • A structured environment designed to make meeting people easier

We’re not just hosting an event — we’re building the social experience around you.

VOLUNTEERS

We are also selecting up to 15 volunteers to help support the event.

We’re looking for people who naturally:

  • help others feel comfortable
  • start conversations or gently include others
  • create a welcoming, safe presence in a room
  • help quieter attendees feel included without pressure

Volunteer expectations:

  • arrive on time
  • stay for the full event (including setup + teardown if needed)
  • support event flow and guest experience when assigned
  • remain flexible as the night unfolds

Volunteers receive:

  • full event access
  • participation in activities and connection experiences
  • all personalized materials

Volunteering is not paid and is selected based on fit and timing needs for the event.

PHOTO & VIDEO NOTICE

By attending or volunteering, you understand that:

  • Photos and videos may be taken during the event
  • Your likeness may appear in promotional or social media content
  • This content may be used for future marketing or event promotion
  • No compensation is provided for media use

If you have concerns during the event, please let a staff member know.

COMMUNITY AGREEMENT

This event only works if everyone helps maintain the space.

By attending, you agree to:

  • Be respectful to other attendees and volunteers
  • Respect boundaries and comfort levels
  • Avoid harassment, exclusion, or disruptive behavior
  • Help create a space where people feel safe to participate at their own pace
  • Follow staff and volunteer guidance during the event

We don’t expect perfection — just basic kindness and awareness of others.

IMPORTANT UNDERSTANDING

By attending this event, you acknowledge that:

  • This is a structured, curated social experience
  • Participation is voluntary and self-guided
  • Some experiences depend on your pre-event form responses
  • You are responsible for your own well-being and belongings during the event
  • Keep It Together ICT is not liable for personal injury or loss except where required by law

WHY THIS EXISTS

We built this because making friends as an adult is weirdly hard.

Most spaces are either:

  • too unstructured to connect easily
  • or too formal to feel natural
  • involve alcohol or smoking
  • involve the pressure to purchase something to be able to stay there

So we created something in between: a space where connection is intentionally supported, not left to chance.

HOW TO JOIN

If you’re coming:

  1. Purchase your ticket
  2. Complete your participant form
  3. Show up ready to meet people (in your own way, at your own pace)

We’ll handle the rest.

FINAL NOTE

You don’t need to be outgoing.

You don’t need to know anyone.

You just need to show up.

Somewhere else in the area, your people are probably wondering if they should come too.
